Xi¡¯an Qujiang New District is originated from Xi¡¯an Qujiang Tang Rosort , the only province-level touring resort in Northwest China , which established with the approval of Shaanxi People¡¯s Government and approved by registered in State Council. In July 2003 . it was renamed to ¡°Qujing New District¡± with the approval of Xi¡¯an Municipal Government. As an urban new district featured with the Tang Dynasty in its heyday . based on the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and relic of Qujiang Royal Garden, and combing touring and entertainment ,leisure and amusement , exhibition and business , and biological residence . Qujiang New District is not only the key region of urban development of Xi¡¯an in the coming 5-10 years ,but also one of the ten key cultural industrial bases developed by Shaanxi Province .
Being located in the southeast of Xi¡¯an Urban district with a programmed area of 15.88 square kilometers being between the Ring 3 Rd. of Xi¡¯an City starting from Yanxiang Road on the east and ending by Cuihua Road on the west; starting from Xaozhai East Road and Xiying Road on the north and ending by Bypass Expressway . Xi¡¯an Qujiang New District is an important part of the programmed central urban district of Xi¡¯an City.
